Social and Market Research Methods

Intrepid provides a multi-pronged research approach based on the research questions, via;


Qualitative Marketing Research - generally used for exploratory purposes. This is mainlyconducted through focus group discussions, in-depth interviews and projective techniques.

Quantitative Research - generally used to draw conclusions or test specific hypotheses. Techniques include choice modelling, maximum difference preference scaling and co-variance analysis

Ethnographic Studies - based on observations, these studies are qualitative in nature as the Intrepid researcher observes social phenomena in their natural setting.

Experimental Techniques - by nature quantitative, the Intrepid researcher creates a quasiartificial environment to try and control spurious factors, then manipulates at least one of the variables in purchase laboratories and test markets.
