Intrepid Research and Media is an enterprise that offers Social and Market Research Services as well as Media Management Services.
In line with its mission, Intrepid Research and Media seeks to recruit a highly motivated, result oriented, well qualified and experienced professional to fill the following vacancy:

Reporting to: GENERAL MANAGER

Role Profile

To manage new business development portfolios of clients for Research, Media Buying and Branding/OOH. To drive new business opportunities for the company and ensuring maximum profitability. Based upon excellent knowledge of the client’s business, to lead and drive the team to provide excellent client services and manage the delivery of exceptional service that meets and exceeds business targets for the client and for the agency.

MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To develop and implement business development strategies that shall ensure growth of both revenue and client base in line with the objectives set by the Board of Directors.
  • Drive new business acquisition through targeting key accounts in an ongoing process
  • Strategically deliver new and ongoing deliverables for clients that would form part of the client’s business plans that would be implemented tactically or as part of their activity calendar
  • Focus on key deliverables through the existing and potential client base to create a win-win solution that enables profitability and the relationship with clients
  • To actively pursue business development opportunities with the client accounts, selling additional services whenever possible
  • To set and direct the delivery of the income targets for each client account
  • To head client service team and provide the necessary strategic direction and supervision to attain optimum team performance.
  • Deliver high standards of client satisfaction, measuring this through feedback, surveys, responseto campaigns and continuously adapting and adjusting approaches to benefit client needs
  • Identify and analyse dimensions of brand positions and determine benefit strategy
  • Through close relationship with the clients, continuously develop the strategic direction of each client account and ensure communication of any directional changes to the team

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE

  • Grade 12 Full Certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business administration or marketing, project management or equivalent
  • Membership with Zambia Institute of Marketing will be an added advantage
  • years’ or more work experience in similar position
  • Clean valid driving license
